The original vanilla flavored cakes make it just right to serve with a variety of toppings like hot fudge or caramel drizzled on it or fresh fruit or berries. Top with whipped cream. Number Of Ingredients 8

1 box twinkies snack cakes, original flavor or flavor of choice (10 cakes per box)
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1 pie crust (homemade or pre-made)
whipped cream or topping of choice

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Mix beaten eggs, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and vinegar in a large mixing bowl.
  • 3. Cut the Twinkies Snack Cakes into about six (6) pieces per cake. Gently fold into egg mixture.
  • 4. Spoon into pie shell and cover edges of pie crust to help prevent the crust from burning. Bake for about 35 minutes or until the top and crust are golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.
  • 5. Best served slightly warm with whipped cream or toppings of choice. Store leftovers in fridge.
