Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 3

15 oz canned pumpkin (not pie mix, plain pumpkin
1 box cake mix, devils food
1/2 c water

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together. Mixture will be very thick. (depending on the brand of cake mix I some times add just a bit more water)
  • 2. Bake in mini muffin tins @ 350 for 15-17 minutes.
  • 3. Let them cool. They are very dense, like brownies. They freeze well too.

These muffins were a complete disaster. I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out flat and dense.

These muffins didn't rise very well. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

I found that these muffins were a bit dry. I would add more moisture next time, perhaps by adding some applesauce or yogurt.

These muffins are a bit too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I love that these muffins are made with whole wheat flour. It makes them a healthier option than traditional muffins.

These muffins are a great way to use up leftover pumpkin puree. I always have some leftover after making pumpkin pie, and these muffins are a great way to use it up.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy these muffins were to make. I'm not a very experienced baker, but I was able to follow the recipe without any problems.
