Wheat Thins image

Wheat thins are a great snack enjoy with dip,salsa,plain with different spices

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 c whole wheat flour
2 Tbsp wheat germ
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp dry milk solids
6 Tbsp margarine
1/2 c water
1 Tbsp molasses

Steps:

  • 1. Knead a little until smooth
  • 2. Grease two Cookie sheets (10 x 15")
  • 3. Sprinkle Each cookie sheet with cornmeal
  • 4. Divide dough in half
  • 5. Roll out half the dough directly onto cookie sheet with floured rolling pin. Rolling Dime Thin.
  • 6. Sprinkle lightly with Paprika,garlic,onion or seasoned salt.
  • 7. Run Rolling pin over once more.
  • 8. Prick with a fork.
  • 9. Cut into squares or triangles
  • 10. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned
