[email protected]This recipe was a disaster! The French toast was soggy and the compote was runny. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

[email protected]The French toast was good, but the blackberry compote was a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time I'll try making it with less sugar.

[email protected]I've never made French toast with whole grain bread before, but I'm glad I tried this recipe. The bread held up really well and the flavor was great. The compote was also delicious and easy to make.
