Wonderful Iraqi Shorba (Soup) (Gluten Free) image

Definatly 5 stars. Perfect for Ramadan after iftar and prayers. I don't not measure the amounts of each ingredient so they are all approximate to be added to personal taste. This is a version of Iraqi Shorba originally found on http://www.geocities.com/umhajar/phood1.html in combination with Recipe #154729.

Yield 3 bowels, 3 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 16

1 medium cooking onion

This Iraqi Shorba soup was a delight! The flavors were complex and delicious, and the lamb was fall-apart tender. I served it with some crusty bread and it was the perfect meal for a cold night.
