Yule cookies image

I made these last night at work and everyone loved them. These are a soft festive cookies with craisins, butterscotch and chocolate chips, and walnut pieces. The perfect Santa's cookie.

Number Of Ingredients 15

BEAT TOGETHER
1 egg
1/2 c butter, softened
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c white sugar
THEN ADD
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 c flour
MIX WELL AND FOLD IN
2/3 c each: chocolate chips and either white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips
1/2 c walnut pieces, chopped
1/2 c craisins

Steps:

  • 1. beat together egg, sugars, and butter. add the vanilla and flour with the baking soda, baking powder and salt added. Mix well.
  • 2. Stir in the nuts craisins and the two kinds of chips.
  • 3. Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet and cook at 350 degrees for 12-13 minutes until just done. Do NOT over bake.
