Steps:
- Combine 1 cup bran and boiling water. Stir and set aside to cool. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add buttermilk, molasses and cooled bran to mixture. Add flour, soda, salt and remaining 2 cups of bran. Stir only to moisten. Gently add raisins and nuts. Grease or spray Pam in muffin tins. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
