A Real Creamsicle Cocktail image

This tastes for all the world like a melted Creamsicle popsicle, and as such is much admired by the young ladies, if not some of the older ones as well. Dates back to the 1970's. As usual, using the very best ingredients will yield the best results, so don't get cheap with the juice and cream. While the filters are giving me a tough time, the pear liquer required is sold as "Austrian Pear Liquer", is sold in 25 oz bottles, and is a pale orangey-pink colour

I love the idea of this cocktail, but I think I'll use a different type of vodka next time. The one I used was a bit too harsh for my taste.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my cocktail didn't turn out as creamy as I expected. It was still good, but not as good as I hoped.

This cocktail is too strong for me. I think I'll use less vodka next time.

I'm not a fan of the vanilla flavor in this cocktail. I think it would be better with just orange sherbet.

I can't wait to try this recipe with different flavors of sherbet. I think it would be delicious with raspberry or strawberry sherbet.
