ABSOLUTE BEST PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, cream 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, and 1/4 sugar until well blended. Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla.
- 3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Drop a teaspoonful of dough per cookie onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- 4. Cool on cookie sheet and then transfer to cooling rack.
- 5. For frosting: Mix 1 stick of melted butter and 3/4 cup of peanut butter together. Blend in the confectioners' sugar until the mixture is thick enough to be spreadable. I start with about a cup, and go from there. After the cookies have cooled, spread on the frosting. Keep in an airtight container.
