6 slices bacon
3 medium onions, sliced
1 lb fresh green beans, cleaned and cut into small pieces
2 cups fresh diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup boiling water

Steps:

  • Dice bacon and fry until crisp.
  • Add sliced onions and fry until a light brown.
  • Add green beans and brown slightly.
  • Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and water.
  • Lower heat and cook until beans are tender.
