Apple Bran Muffins image

Healthy, Wholesome and Delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 11

3/4 c flour
1/2 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c bran cereal
1/2 c milk
1/2 c peeled, grated apple
1 egg
3 Tbsp vegetable oil

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat over to 400°.
  • 2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  • 3. Stir together bran cereal and milk; let stand 5 minutes. Add apple, egg and oil, beating until well blended.
  • 4. Add flour mixture, stirring just until combined; DO NOT overmix.
  • 5. Fill standard size muffin prepared muffin cups 2/3 full.
  • 6. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until done.
