Yield 1

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 medium apple - peeled, cored, and sliced
2 teaspoons water
½ tablespoon unsalted butter
2 teaspoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (8 inch) flour tortilla
2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • Place apple slices and water in a microwave-safe bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Microwave on high power until apple slices are soft, about 3 minutes.

  • Remove from the refrigerator and place ice cream on top of apples. Wrap tortilla as you would wrap a burrito.

I found this recipe to be a bit bland. I think it could have used a little more spice, maybe some ginger or cardamom.

These burritos were a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my burritos didn't turn out as great as I had hoped. The filling was too runny, and the tortillas were soggy. I think I might have used too much butter.

This recipe was super easy to follow, and the end result was delicious. I used Granny Smith apples, which gave the filling a nice tartness. I also added a little bit of nutmeg and cloves to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
