2 cups steel-cut oat
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup maple syrup
4 apples, peeled, cored, cut into ½-inch (1-cm) pieces
3 cups water
3 cups milk, or milk alternative
chopped nut, to serve

Steps:

  • Add steel-cut oats, cinnamon, salt, maple syrup, apples, water, and milk to a greased slow cooker.
  • Stir then cover.
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  • Carefully remove lid and serve with chopped nuts.
  • Enjoy!
