- 3. Spread apples in the pan.
- 4. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- 5. Cut in margarine or butter until crumbly.
- 6. Sprinkle over apples. Bake about 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
