This is a wonderful quick and easy Desser, It's Apples sauted in Butter, And Cinnamon Sugar, placed into Baked Crispy cinnamon sugar Tortillas . It reminds me of fried Apple Pies, only much easier and quicker to make, love the crispy Tortillas too. This Recipe is by Christy Jordan on Southern plate.

I made a few substitutions to the recipe. I used sharp cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella, and I added a bit of diced jalapeno for some heat.

These flautas are a great way to use up leftover apples. I always have a few apples lying around, so this recipe is perfect for me.

I was a little worried that the flautas would be too sweet, but they were actually the perfect balance of sweet and savory.
