Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 375*
- 2. Heat all caramel sauce ingredients till caramels are melted. Keep warm.
- 3. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter till coarse crumbs. Add oil, water and egg; mix well. Press into 15x10x1 baking pan.
- 4. Combine all apple ingredients, toss lightly. Spoon into crust-lined pan. Drizzle warm caramel sauce over apples.
- 5. Combine all topping ingredients into bowl; except nuts. Beat till smooth. Spoon over apples, spreading a little. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 375* for 35-45 minutes or till light golden brown.
