ASPARAGUS WITH WASBI DIP image

Yield 1 1/2 cups sauce

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup mayonaise (low fat fine)
4 tso. low sodium soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. wasabi paste
1 bunch asparagus

Steps:

  • Combine mayo, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, and wasbi paste. Chill. Fill large frying pan half full of water; bring to boil. Add aspargus in single layer. Par boil 2 minutes for thin spears, 3 for thicker spears. Using tongs place in another pan with ice water to cool immediately. Serve with chilled sauce.
