This recipe is a great starting point for damper bread. I made a few changes to it, though. I used half whole wheat flour and half all-purpose flour, and I added a tablespoon of honey. The bread turned out perfectly!

I followed the recipe exactly, but my damper bread didn't turn out very well. The crust was too hard, and the inside was too dry. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

This damper bread is okay. It's not the best I've ever had, but it's not bad either. The texture is a bit dense, but the flavor is good. I think it would be better if it were made with a little more butter.

I'm Australian, and I can confirm that this damper bread is the real deal. It's just like the damper my grandmother used to make. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the inside is soft and fluffy. I love to eat it with butter and golden syrup.
