Baked Creamy Corn image

This is a recipe given to me by my dad who got it from some guy he worked with that always brought it to work at the foundry. The guy asked his wife for it and gave it to my dad so my mom would make it. I always picked out the hot peppers- otherwise I liked it.

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 can(s) 15 oz. each whole kernel corn, drained
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
4 Tbsp butter
4 oz diced green chiles, drained,optional
1 Tbsp crushed garlic

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350^. Combine corn, cheese, and butter in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until cream cheese is melted and smooth. Stir in garlic and chilies. Pour mixture into a 2 -quart buttered baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm or cold.
