Number Of Ingredients 7

¾ cup beer
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup miso paste
⅓ cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon Sriracha
½ teaspoon sesame oil
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Steps:

  • Mix beer, brown sugar, miso, soy sauce, Sriracha, and sesame oil together in a 1-gallon zip-top bag. Add chicken breasts, seal the bag, and thoroughly mix the marinade into the chicken. Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Remove chicken from the marinade and shake off excess. Place chicken in an oven-safe baking dish. Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 25 to 30 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

I'm allergic to miso, so I substituted soy sauce instead. The chicken still turned out great!

I followed the recipe exactly, but my chicken didn't turn out as tender as I expected. I'm not sure what went wrong.

This dish was a little too salty for my taste. I think I'll use less miso next time.

I'm not a big fan of chicken, but this recipe changed my mind. The miso glaze made the chicken so moist and flavorful.

The miso glaze is the star of this dish. It's sweet, savory, and umami-rich. I could eat it by the spoonful!

I love how easy this recipe is to make. I was able to throw everything in a baking dish and let it cook in the oven while I did other things.

This baked miso chicken recipe was a hit! The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the miso glaze was delicious. I served it with steamed broccoli and brown rice.
