Banana and Coconut Oatmeal image

Oatmeal--it's so classic, but it's got to be one of the most versatile breakfast foods of all time. Here is one of the many ways that I have enjoyed oatmeal recently--it's so great and a good way to get in some fruit for the day. Serve with a glass of skim milk or a yogurt for a nutritious breakfast!

This oatmeal is a great way to start the day! It's filling and nutritious, and the bananas and coconut give it a tropical twist. I like to add a bit of brown sugar and milk to make it even more decadent.

This oatmeal was a bit bland for my taste. I think I would have preferred it with more spices or sweetener. The coconut flavor was nice though.

Not a fan of coconut, so I omitted it and added a handful of raisins instead. Still turned out great! The bananas added a natural sweetness and the oats were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be making this again, minus the coconut.
