I got this recipe from an old friend, its always a hit at gatherings.

Steps:
- 1. make cake according to directions on box
- 2. after the cake is cool, make holes through out the top of the cake, i use a butter knife to do so
- 3. heat jello mix and i cup water to a boil, remove from heat. Do not add any more water.
- 4. pour hot jello all over top of cake, paying special attention to the holes. set aside
- 5. make pudding according to directions on box
- 6. mix pudding with cool whip well
- 7. slice the bananas, and place on top of cake
- 8. frost the cake with the pudding mix, refrigerate
