Steps:
- 1. Score the fat on the ham slice. Place the ham slice in a large shallow dish.
- 2. Combine the ginger ale and remaining ingredients; stir well. Pour the marinade mixture over the ham slice. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours, turning once.
- 3. Remove the ham slice from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
- 4. Grill, covered, over medium coals for 8 to 10 minutes on each side. Make sure your coals are not too hot!. Baste the ham slice frequently with the reserved marinade.
