Time 1h10m

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 lb country-style pork ribs - i always double the recipe
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 c ketchup
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c honey
1/4 c spicy brown mustard
2 - 3 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 - 1/2 tsp teaspoons liquid smoke, optional

Steps:

  • 1. Place ribs in a large kettle or Dutch oven; sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Add enough water to cover; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until juices run clear and ribs are tender; drain. Combine the remaining ingredients. Grill ribs, uncovered, over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, basting with sauce and turning occasionally.
  • 2. If I use the oven method. Boil the ribs for 15 minutes; and then place ribs in a 10x15 pan and ladle most of the sauce over the ribs and bake at 350'F for 30-40 min. uncovered.

I made these ribs for a party, and they were a huge hit. Everyone loved them! The sauce was delicious, and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. I will definitely be making these ribs again.

These ribs were a bit too sweet for my taste, but my husband loved them. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the sauce had a nice smoky flavor. I would make these ribs again, but I would use a different sauce.

My family loved these ribs! The BBQ honey sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. The ribs were a hit at our backyard cookout, and I will definitely be making them again.
