Steps:
- 1. Place beans in a small heavy duty resealable plastic bag; tie and seal bag.
- 2. Combine pasta and remaining ingredients in a small heavy duty resealable plastic bag; tie and seal bag.
- 3. Directions: Sort and wash beans. Place in a large Dutch oven. Cover with water 2 inches above beans. Soak 8 hours; drain. Saute 1 large onion, chopped and 2 cloves garlic, minced, in 2 Tbsp hot olive oil in Dutch oven.
- 4. Add 3 quarts water and beans. Bring to a boil;cover;reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hours/ Stir in pasta mixture. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer; uncovered, 30 minutes.
