Beef Skewer in Korean-Inspired Marinade image

Number Of Ingredients 9

6 tablespoons Soy Sauce
3 tablespoons Water
2 tablespoons Sugar
2 tablespoons Honey
2 tablespoons Mirin
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 1/2 pounds Beef Rib Eye, boneless 1/8" slices
1 teaspoon Sesane seeds
1 piece Scallions,thinly sliced

Steps:

  • 1. In large owl, combine soy sauce, water, sugar, honey, mirin and garlic. Add sliced beef; toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate at least 30minutes or up to 24 hours.
  • 2. Grease the grill and preheat to medium-high. Thread beef onto skewers, being careful not to pack too closely.
  • 3.Grill skewers about 3-4 minutes per side until beef is nicely charred. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve with lettuce leaves as wrappers, bell pepper and cucumbers as filling.
