I'm not a huge fan of cherries, but I loved this ice cream. The chocolate chunks and almonds balance out the tartness of the cherries perfectly.

My ice cream maker died halfway through the churning process. I was so bummed! I ended up just putting the mixture in the freezer and stirring it every 30 minutes. It turned out great!
