Steps:
- 1. Brown ground beef and bacon. Drain. Add onion and cook till tender. Add all other ingredients except the beans and mix well.
- 2. Drain kidney beans and butter beans. Add all beans to meat mixture. Pour into 3 quart casserole dish or into crock pot.
- 3. To prepare in oven, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. To prepare in crock pot, cook on high for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low and cook for 4 hours. I always double this for family get to gathers or pot lucks
- 4. This recipe is great for Dutch Oven cooking. Triple recipe for a 12 inch Dutch Oven.
