Best Mini M&m Cookies image

I was given this recipe 20 years ago by my then boyfriend's soon to be step mom and its still my favorite for "chocolate chip" cookies. I substituted the Semi Sweet Mini M&Ms (which make the best cookies) for the chocolate chips it originally called for, but you can use chocolate chips, regular M&Ms, the Milk Chocolate Mini M&Ms or whatever you like. Play with the spices too.

These cookies are a bit too chocolatey for my taste. I think I'll try using semisweet chocolate chips next time.

I'm allergic to peanuts, so I used Reese's Pieces instead of M&Ms. The cookies turned out great! I'm so glad I found this recipe.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my cookies turned out flat and crispy. They didn't have the chewy texture that I was hoping for.

These cookies are a bit dry. I think I'll try adding some more butter or milk to the dough next time.

I had some trouble getting the cookies to bake evenly. Some of them were overcooked while others were still undercooked. I think I'll need to adjust the baking time next time.

These cookies are a bit too sweet for my taste, but my kids love them. I think I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time I make them.

I'm not a huge fan of M&Ms, but I still enjoyed these cookies. The cookie dough is so good that it doesn't even need the M&Ms. But if you're a fan of M&Ms, then you'll definitely love these cookies.

These cookies are a great way to use up leftover M&Ms. I always have a bag of M&Ms in my pantry, so it's nice to have a recipe that I can use them in.

These cookies were a breeze to make and they turned out so cute! I used a cookie scoop to make sure they were all the same size, and they baked evenly. The M&Ms melted perfectly and gave the cookies a nice chewy texture.
