Tips:

  • Choose the right apples: For the best flavor and texture, use a variety of apples that are sweet and tart, such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Braeburn.
  • Don't peel the apples: Leaving the peels on adds flavor and nutrients to the cake.
  • Use a 9x13 inch baking dish: This is the standard size for a dump cake, and it will ensure that the cake is cooked evenly.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing will make the cake tough. Just stir until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This usually takes about 45 minutes, but the baking time may vary depending on your oven.
  • Serve the cake warm or at room temperature: Dump cake is best served warm, but it can also be served at room temperature. Top with whipped cream, ice cream, or caramel sauce for an extra special treat.

Conclusion:

Apple dump cake is an easy and delicious dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a warm and comforting cake that the whole family will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dessert, give apple dump cake a try. You won't be disappointed!
