5-MINUTE MICROWAVE NUTELLA® CAKE
As a poor starving college student, this recipe is one of my favorites. It is quick, cheap, and 1-portion size. I actually make about 6 servings of the dry ingredients ahead of time, then add the liquid later. The dry is about 11 tablespoons. A whipping cream or ice cream topping completes this heavenly dessert. Can substitute peanut butter for hazelnut spread, but cut the portion to 1 1/2 tablespoon. You can increase cocoa powder and hazelnut spread to 3 tablespoons each and substitute almond extract for vanilla if desired.

Steps:
- 1- First start by putting the sugar in a mixing bowl.
- 2- Mix in the cocoa, flour, baking powder and vanilla.
- 3- Now just add the milk, oil, nutella and eggs and mix really well with a wooden spoon.
- 4- Put the mixture in 3 medium size mugs or 2 large mugs.
- 5- The original recipe called for 1 and a half minutes in the microwave. When I tried the recipe, the cake needed 3 minutes to be ready. I think it depends from one microwave to another. My suggestion is to start with 1 and a half minute and check the cake. If it doesn't seem ready, add 30 seconds, and so on until you are satisfied with how it looks.
- Bon Appetit!

Tips:
- Use a large enough mug or ramekin to allow the cake to rise without overflowing.
- Make sure to whisk the ingredients together until they are well combined and smooth.
- Do not overcook the cake, as it will become dry and rubbery.
- If you are using a microwave with a turntable, stop the microwave halfway through cooking and rotate the mug or ramekin to ensure even cooking.
- Let the cake cool for a minute or two before serving to allow it to set.
- Top the cake with your favorite toppings, such as powdered sugar, whipped cream, or ice cream.
Conclusion:
With its rich chocolate flavor and fluffy texture, this 5-minute microwave Nutella cake is the perfect treat for any Nutella lover. It is quick and easy to make, and it can be enjoyed on its own or topped with your favorite toppings. Whether you are looking for a quick dessert or a fun snack, this cake is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
