AIR FRYER HAMBURGER PATTIES

Air Fryer Hamburger Patties image

When it's too cold to grill and you're craving a juicy burger, use your air fryer! The butter and bouillon mixture gives the patties a dark grilled color and deep beefy flavor. Add your favorite seasonings, if desired, but these are delicious as is! If you'd like to add cheese, turn off the air fryer once the patties are done and let the residual heat melt the cheese. Make sure you use cold meat, straight from the fridge, for best results.

AIR FRYER BURGERS FROM FROZEN PATTIES

Air Fryer Burgers from Frozen Patties image

Timing will be most determined by how thick the burger patties are. Depending on your air fryer and cooked preference, you might need to add a little time for thicker patties, or a little less of thin patties. Some frozen patties come pre-seasoned, while others are not. Season to taste if needed. You don't need to thaw the burger patties before air frying. Do not preheat the air fryer before cooking the frozen patties.

Tips:

  • Thaw Frozen Patties Quickly: If you're short on time, you can thaw frozen hamburger patties quickly by placing them in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes, changing the water every 10 minutes. This method is much faster than thawing them in the refrigerator.
  • Use Parchment Paper: To prevent the patties from sticking to the air fryer basket, line it with parchment paper. This will also make cleanup easier.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to the desired temperature before adding the patties. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Cook the Patties in Batches: If you're cooking a lot of patties, cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Flip the Patties Halfway Through Cooking: To ensure that the patties cook evenly, flip them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Use a Meat Thermometer: To ensure that the patties are cooked to your desired doneness, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, the internal temperature should be 135 degrees Fahrenheit; for medium, it should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit; and for well-done, it should be 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Air frying frozen hamburger patties is a quick and easy way to cook a delicious and satisfying meal. By following these tips, you can ensure that your patties are cooked evenly and to your desired doneness. Serve them on buns with your favorite toppings, or use them in your favorite recipes.
