1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

2 pounds chicken wings, split at the joint and tips removed
Kosher salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup hot sauce, such as Frank's RedHot

  • Spray the basket of a 3.5-quart air fryer with cooking spray and set aside. Pat the chicken wings dry and sprinkle generously with salt. ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder

20 chicken wings
½ cup butter (melted)
½ cup red hot sauce ( (we use Frank's red hot sauce) + more for basting, if desired)

Steps:

  • Pat chicken pieces dry with a paper towel. Spray the air fryer insert with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place the flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt into a resealable plastic bag and shake to mix. Make sure your chicken wings are completely dry (this will keep them from getting soggy) and add the chicken wings to the bag. Seal the bag and toss until well coated with the flour mixture.
