Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make a big difference in the final dish. Look for ripe tomatoes, sweet onions, and high-quality cheese.
  • Don't overcook the pasta: Pasta should be cooked al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. Overcooked pasta will be mushy and unpleasant.
  • Make sure the sauce is thick enough: The sauce should be thick enough to coat the pasta without being too heavy. If the sauce is too thin, add a little cornstarch or flour to thicken it.
  • Serve the dish immediately: Alfredo Mostaccioli is best served immediately after it is made. The pasta will start to absorb the sauce and become mushy if it sits for too long.
