Tips:

  • Use almond flour instead of all-purpose flour: Almond flour is a great way to make these cookies gluten-free and low-carb. It also gives the cookies a delicious nutty flavor.
  • Use a food processor to grind the almonds: This will help to create a fine almond flour that will make the cookies smooth and tender.
  • Chill the dough before baking: This will help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just golden brown: Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before serving: This will help them to set and firm up.

Conclusion:

These amaretti cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are gluten-free, low-carb, and low-fat, making them a healthier alternative to traditional cookies.
