Tips:

  • Choose the right steak: For this recipe, a flank steak or skirt steak works best. These cuts are relatively thin and have a good amount of marbling, which makes them tender and flavorful.
  • Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak in a mixture of olive oil, ancho chili powder, garlic, and lime juice helps to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: This will help to create a nice char on the outside of the steak while keeping the inside juicy and tender.
  • Let the steak rest before slicing: This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and tender steak.
  • Serve with a flavorful salsa: The summer salsa made with tomatoes, corn, black beans, and cilantro is a great complement to the ancho-garlic steak.

Conclusion:

Ancho-garlic steaks with summer salsa is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a summer cookout or party. The steak is tender and flavorful, and the salsa is refreshing and tangy. This dish is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
