Tips:

  • Use a large pot or Dutch oven so there's plenty of room for the chili to simmer and the flavors to develop.
  • Brown the beef and sausage over medium-high heat until it's nicely browned. This will help to develop the flavor of the chili.
  • Add a variety of vegetables to the chili, such as onions, peppers, and corn. This will add flavor, texture, and nutrients to the dish.
  • Use a variety of spices to flavor the chili, such as chili powder, cumin, and paprika. You can also add a touch of cayenne pepper for a bit of heat.
  • Simmer the chili for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, to allow the flavors to meld together. The longer you simmer it, the better it will taste.
  • Serve the chili with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, and chopped onions.
