Tips:

  • Use fresh apples: Fresh apples provide the best flavor and texture for apple fritter stuffed pull-apart bread. Choose a variety that is crisp and tart, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the bread tough. Mix it just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place: This will help the dough to double in size and become light and fluffy.
  • Stuff the dough with plenty of apple fritter filling: The more filling, the better! Be sure to spread the filling evenly over the dough so that every piece of bread has some.
  • Bake the bread until it is golden brown: This will ensure that the bread is cooked through and the filling is hot and bubbly.
  • Serve the bread warm: Apple fritter stuffed pull-apart bread is best served warm, right out of the oven. You can top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra special treat.
