I make this allllll the time. Everyone raves over it! It's so delicious it's sinful. I hope you guys love it as much as me and my family do! I have done this dish with shrimp and then on several occasions fixed it with chicken.

1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta
2 1/4 cups heavy cream, divided
1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
3/4 cup grated asiago cheese
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup chopped prosciutto (optional)
1 large tomatoes, diced
2 chopped fresh garlic cloves
3/4 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 tablespoon parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain, and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups cream to a simmer, stirring often. Whisk in bouillon and cheese until well blended and bouillon has dissolved completely. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water, and whisk into mixture. Cook and stir till the cream thickens, then remove from heat and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium high heat. Stir in prosciutto, garlic, and mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes. Add remaining 1/4 cup cream and parsley flakes. Heat through.
  • To serve, place pasta in a large mixing or serving bowl. Add the mushroom mixture and pour in cream sauce. Toss well, and serve.

1/4 cup olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (9-ounce) bag fresh spinach, roughly chopped
8 ounces (1/2 pint) cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup (about 3 1/2-ounces) grated Asiago
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook until tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain pasta reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid.
  • Meanwhile, warm olive oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. 1 cube chicken bouillon
1 tablespoon Asiago Cheese
1 tablespoon cornstarch, mixed with equal parts water
1 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pasta
¾ cup bacon
¼ cup butter
1 cup diced red onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup chopped green onion
1 pound grilled skinless, boneless chicken breast, diced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook 2 cups cream until just bubbling. Watch carefully, to ensure that it doesn't boil over. Stir in bouillon and Asiago cheese. 3 tablespoons butter
1 3-ounce piece pancetta, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 2-ounce piece hard Italian salami, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
8 ounces sweet Italian sausages, casings removed, crumbled
7 cups water
1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Butter 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish. Grate enough Asiago cheese to measure 1/4 cup. Cut remaining cheese into 1/2-inch dice.
  • Melt 1 tablespoon butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pancetta and stir until golden, about 3 minutes. Add salami and stir 1 minute. Transfer pancetta mixture and pan drippings to bowl. Add sausages to same skillet; sauté until cooked through, breaking up with back of spoon, about 8 minutes. Bake until polenta is set and cheese melts, about 25 minutes.
