From the website Drink it! This is supposed to be a copycat of P.F. Chang's. I multiplied this recipe by 16 and made it in a large plastic pitcher. I brought it to a party and just added the club soda to each glass when we got there. It was very well received!

Tips:

  • Choose ripe Asian pears: Look for pears that are slightly soft to the touch and have a sweet, fragrant aroma.
  • Use fresh mint leaves: Fresh mint leaves are essential for mojitos. Be sure to wash them thoroughly before using.
  • Make a simple syrup: A simple syrup helps to sweeten the mojito and balance out the tartness of the lime juice. To make a simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • Use a muddler: A muddler is a tool used to crush the mint leaves and lime wedges in the mojito. If you don't have a muddler, you can use the back of a spoon.
  • Serve the mojitos immediately: Mojitos are best served immediately after they are made. The longer they sit, the more the mint and lime flavors will fade.

Conclusion:

The Asian pear mojito is a refreshing and flavorful cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. Whether you like your mojitos sweet, sour, or somewhere in between, you're sure to find a recipe that you'll love. So next time you're looking for a delicious and refreshing cocktail, give the Asian pear mojito a try!
