Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken. Ground chicken breast is the best choice for croquettes, as it is lean and has a mild flavor. You can also use ground chicken thigh, but it will be a bit fattier.
  • Use fresh bread crumbs. Fresh bread crumbs will help to keep the croquettes light and airy. You can make your own bread crumbs by grating stale bread or using a food processor.
  • Season the chicken mixture well. The chicken mixture should be well-seasoned with salt, pepper, and other spices of your choice. This will help to give the croquettes flavor.
  • Chill the chicken mixture before frying. Chilling the chicken mixture will help to firm it up and make it easier to work with.
  • Fry the croquettes in hot oil. The oil should be hot enough to sizzle when you drop the croquettes in. This will help to create a crispy crust.
  • Drain the croquettes on paper towels. After frying, drain the croquettes on paper towels to remove any excess oil.

Conclusion:

Asian-style chicken croquettes are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for parties or potlucks. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your chicken croquettes are crispy, flavorful, and sure to please everyone.
