ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS
This recipe has wonderful flavor and the water chestnuts give it great texture. My husband loves meat but he'd prefer this over regular hamburgers anyway! Make batches ahead of time and freeze the patties using waxed paper to separate.

EASY ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS
These turkey burgers are fast, easy, and healthy! They are great on the grill and also freeze well. As a college student who is always looking for healthy, fast meals, it doesn't get any better than this. The night before, I take one burger out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge overnight/while I have class the next day. Once I get home, I just throw it on my forman grill and dinner's ready in about 5 minutes! I serve on Arnold Sandwich Thins with sauteed onions.

- Make burgers:
- Prepare grill.
- Mince garlic. Into a blender tear bread slices and grind into fine crumbs. ASIAN TURKEY BURGERS WITH SPICY LIME MAYO.
Steps:
- For Burgers: Combine all ingredients (except buns) in a large bowl and mix gently with your hands until just combined - do not overmix. Form turkey into 4 patties about 1/2 inch thick. Heat a skillet (in my case - a cast iron grill pan) over medium-high heat (or preheat your grill) and once hot, add burgers. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side. Toast buns if desired, then top burgers with mayo and serve. For Mayo: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth and combined.
Tips:
- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your turkey burgers. Look for ground turkey that is fresh and has a pink color. Avoid ground turkey that is brown or gray, as this indicates that it is old or spoiled.
- Season the turkey burgers well. Don't be afraid to add plenty of flavor to your turkey burgers. Use a variety of spices and herbs, such as garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, and chili powder. You can also add fresh herbs, such as cilantro, parsley, or basil.
- Cook the turkey burgers over medium heat. This will help to prevent them from drying out. Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
- Use a variety of toppings. Turkey burgers are a great opportunity to get creative with toppings. Try using things like lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese, bacon, and avocado. You can also add a variety of sauces, such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or barbecue sauce.
Conclusion:
Turkey burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. They are easy to make and can be customized with a variety of toppings and sauces. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal or a fun and festive party dish, turkey burgers are a great option.
