Number Of Ingredients 4

2 tablespoons Spanish olive oil
6 slices serrano ham
12 asparagus spears
pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Place half the olive oil in a roasting pan that will hold the asparagus spears in a single layer. Swirl it around so that it covers the bottom of pan. Cut each slice of Serrano ham in half lengthwise.

  • Serve piping hot and with your favorite Aioli Sauce for dipping.

  • Trim the asparagus spears by snapping off the woody ends. You can easily do this by bending the asparagus spear until it naturally breaks.

  • Use high-quality serrano ham for the best flavor. Look for ham that is thinly sliced and has a deep red color.
  • Wrap the asparagus spears in the serrano ham tightly, ensuring that the ham completely covers the asparagus.
