I guess this is an ambrosia salad, we just always called it fruit salad. One of our family favorites. You can also add coconut (1/4 cup) if you like. If you have time, prepare this the day before and refrigerate. About 1 hour before serving, remove from refrigerator and let sit to come to room temperature. Stir to remix and serve. Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better your salad will taste. If possible, buy produce from a local farmer's market or grow your own vegetables in a garden.
- Choose a variety of colors and textures: This will make your salad more visually appealing and interesting to eat. Aim for a mix of leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, and nuts.
- Don't be afraid to experiment: There are endless possibilities when it comes to salad ingredients. Try different combinations of fruits, vegetables, and dressings to find your favorite salad recipes.
- Make sure your dressing is well-balanced: A good dressing should be flavorful but not overpowering. It should also be light enough so that it doesn't weigh down the salad.
- Serve your salad immediately: Salad is best when it's fresh. Once it's been dressed, it will start to wilt, so try to serve it as soon as possible after making it.
