This recipe is from my husbands late Aunt. She would always make this for Christmas and every year we all would look forward to eating it. When she finally gave me the recipe I thought that the combination sounded a little different, my husband doesn't like mushrooms, but he loves this recipe and you can't taste the mushrooms at all. This is an excellent cheese dip for dipping your favorite tortilla chips in.

1 pound(s) sausage
1 pound(s) hamburger
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 small onion
1 - jar of your favorite salsa
1 pound(s) velveeta mexican cheese

Steps:

  • Fry the sausage and hamburger, drain fat. Add mushroom soup small diced onion, salsa and cube up the velveeta cheese. Put into a crock pot on low, stirring occasionally. When melted serve with your favorite tortilla chips. Enjoy!

The flavor of the onion and green chilies with the cheese is mild yet savory. Serve with tortilla chips or Doritos.

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 cups mayonnaise (can be reduced to 1 cup if desired)
1 medium onion, minced
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies, drained
1 (4 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained (optional)
sliced pepperoni

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • In a casserole dish (you can use 8x8 to 9x13 sizes), mix together cheese, mayonnaise, onion, and green chilies. Spread evenly in dish.
