Tips:

  • Choose ripe and flavorful tomatoes: This will ensure that your sauce is packed with flavor. You can use any type of tomato you like, but Roma tomatoes are a good option because they have a meaty texture and low water content.
  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs, such as basil, oregano, and thyme, will add a lot of flavor to your sauce. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but be sure to use half the amount.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the bacon and zucchini, be sure to not overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the ingredients from cooking evenly.
  • Simmer the sauce for at least 30 minutes: This will allow the flavors to meld together and develop.
  • Serve the sauce over your favorite pasta: This sauce is great with spaghetti, penne, or any other type of pasta you like.

Conclusion:

This bacon, tomato, and zucchini pasta sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make weeknight meal. It's packed with flavor and can be served over your favorite pasta. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a restaurant-quality meal in the comfort of your own home. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner idea, give this sauce a try. You won't be disappointed!
