Tips:

  • Choose high-quality scallops. Look for scallops that are plump, firm, and have a slightly sweet smell. Avoid scallops that are slimy or have an off odor.
  • Soak the scallops in milk for 30 minutes before cooking. This will help to tenderize the scallops and prevent them from becoming tough.
  • Wrap the scallops in bacon tightly. This will help to keep the scallops moist and prevent them from falling apart on the grill.
  • Cook the scallops over medium heat. This will help to prevent the bacon from burning and the scallops from overcooking.
  • Serve the scallops immediately. Bacon-wrapped scallops are best enjoyed when they are hot and fresh off the grill.

Conclusion:

Bacon-wrapped scallops are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for a summer cookout or a special occasion.
