CRISPY BREADED AND BAKED CHICKEN WINGS
I like my wings baked and not fried. These are very tasty and crispy. For easier cleanup, line pan with foil and spray with nonstick spray.

BREADED BAKED CHICKEN
This is a family favorite recipe at our house that I usually make at least once per month. It's really like an oven-fried chicken, it should come out crispy and browned. I don't even measure the ingredients any more, I just dump the flour and spices in the bag and shake away - it's SO easy! This is great with mashed potatoes (if you make gravy with the pan drippings) and corn (in the summer), carrots (in the winter). The original recipe is from GH Illustrated Cookbook, I've changed a few things.

- In the pan (s), place the chicken, skin side down, in the melted butter; bake 30 minutes.

- Use a light touch when breading the chicken: This will help to keep the breading from falling off.
- Preheat your oven to the correct temperature: This will help to ensure that the chicken cooks evenly.
- Bake the chicken until it is cooked through: The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the chicken rest before serving: This will help to keep the juices in the chicken.
