1 teaspoon salt, pepper and garlic

Tips:

  • Choose the right squash: Look for a medium-sized butternut squash that is firm and has a deep orange color.
  • Pierce the squash before baking: This will help the steam escape and prevent the squash from exploding.
  • Roast the squash until tender: The squash should be tender enough to easily pierce with a fork.
  • Let the squash cool slightly before handling: The squash will be very hot when it comes out of the oven, so let it cool for a few minutes before handling.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the squash: A sharp knife will help you get clean, even cuts.
  • Serve the squash with your favorite toppings: You can serve the squash with butter, salt, pepper, garlic, cheese, or any other toppings you like.
