12 slices bread, cubed
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
8 large eggs
1 cup 2% milk
1/2 cup maple syrup
Additional maple syrup

Steps:

  • Arrange half of the bread cubes in a greased shallow 2-qt. baking dish. Top with cream cheese and remaining bread. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and syrup; pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. , Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 20-25 minutes longer or until golden brown. 7 cups cubed French bread
1/2 cup golden raisins
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup warm heavy whipping cream (70° to 80°)
1/4 cup maple syrup
6 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
Additional maple syrup

Steps:

  • Place bread in a greased 2-qt. baking dish; press down gently. Sprinkle with raisins. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in whipping cream and syrup; mix well. Whisk together the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and salt; add to cream cheese mixture., Pour evenly over bread; lightly press bread into egg mixture with a spatula. 1 loaf crusty sourdough or French bread
8 whole eggs
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup whipping (heavy) cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Freshly grated nutmeg
1 stick cold butter, cut into pieces, plus more for serving
Warm pancake syrup, for serving
1 cup fresh blueberries, for serving

Steps:

  • For the French toast: Grease the baking pan with butter. Tear the bread into chunks, or cut into cubes, and evenly distribute in the pan. Crack the eggs in a big bowl. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Pour evenly over the bread. Cover the pan tightly and store in the fridge until needed (overnight preferably).

1 loaf French bread (13 to 16 oz)
8 large eggs
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

1 dash salt
1 cup butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

  • Slice French bread into 20 slices, 1 inch thick.
  • Arrange slices in a generously buttered 9x13-inch baking dish in 2 rows, overlapping slices.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
3 -4 tablespoons sugar (optional or to taste)
8 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups full-fat milk
2/3 cup half-and-half cream (or use all half and half cream)
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla
powdered sugar
